New! Application Fees for U.S. Non-Immigrant Visas to Increase on January 1, 2008    

The consular section at U.S. Embassy Bangkok provides visa services for citizens and residents of Thailand.  Please consult the links to the left for detailed information about immigrant visas, non-immigrant visas, and adoptions.  If you live in Chiang Mai or its surrounds, you may interview for non-immigrant visas in Chiang Mai.

There are two general categories of visas:  nonimmigrant visas (NIV) and immigrant visas (IV).  Please consult the links on the left-hand side of this page for more information about specific types of U.S. visas.
