The American Chamber of Commerce in Thailand (AMCHAM) provides American businesses and businesspersons with a venue for the exchange of ideas and for identifying common purposes to pursue in both the private and government sectors, in Thailand, in the Asian region, and in the United States.

American Corners in Thailand
American Corners in Thailand are one-stop centers for information and culture from the United States. They are partnerships between the U.S. Embassy in Thailand and host institutions. Located in the main libraries of Prince of Songkla University, Pattani campus, Khon Kaen University, Chiang Mai University, Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University, and Yala Rajabhat University, the Corners aim to foster mutual understanding between Thailand and the United States.

AFS Intercultural Programs Thailand
American Field Services (AFS) was founded in 1962 with the support of the Thai Ministry of Education, Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the United States Information Service (USIS) and provides grants to Thai students to study in the United States.

American University Alumni Association (AUA) Language Center
The American University Alumni Association Language Center, often simply referred to as AUA, was established as a binational center in 1952 to "promote further mutual understanding between the people of Thailand and the United States through instruction in their respective languages, customs and traditions." Both English and Thai are taught at the main center, located in the heart of Bangkok on Ratchadamri Road.

Peace Corps in Thailand
Since 1962, Peace Corps Volunteers have been serving in Thailand in a variety of capacities and numbers. Today the Peace Corps continues to serve the people of Thailand with Peace Corps Volunteers aiding to advance educational and economic reform initiatives undertaken by the Royal Thai Government.

Thailand - United States Educational Foundation (TUSEF/Fulbright)
The Fulbright Program was initiated in Thailand in 1950 to promote further mutual understanding between the people of the United States of America and Thailand by a wider exchange of knowledge and professional talents through educational contacts. Thailand-United States Educational Foundation, TUSEF as it is now know, has given grants to over a thousand Thai and more than four hundred American citizens. Fulbright alumni can be found in the ranks of professionals from nearly every area of Thai society, and a wide range of academic and other fields in the United States.

United States Agency for International Development (USAID)
The Regional Development Mission of the United States Agency for International Development for Asia (USAID RDM/A) was established in Bangkok in June 2003 and is responsible for USAID programs and operations in Vietnam, Burma, Laos, China and Thailand. In addition, USAID designs and manages regional and cross border programs in South, East and Southeast Asia.
