Medical Assistance

If you are physically disabled and need assistance evacuating, call: 1414 or 084-703-2600.

As of November 9, most local hospitals in the Bangkok Metropolitan Area are operating as normal. Check below for information or call your local hospital for details.

  1. Bangkok Hospital  – operating as normal
  2. Bangkok Christian Hospital - operating as normal
  3. Bangkok Mission Hospital  - operating as normal
  4. BNH Hospital – operating as normal
  5. Bumrungrad Hospital – operating as normal
  6. Central General Hospital  - emergency cases only, as most patients have been evacuated 
  7. Paolo Memorial Hospital  - operating as normal
  8. Samitivej Sukhumvit  - operating as normal
  9. Samitivej Srinakarin – operating as normal

According to Ministry of Public Affairs for Thailand Press Release on October 22, 2011, the Government plans to evacuate those in intensive care unit patients from hospitals in Bangkok to other provinces in the case of a flood in the area.

In case of an emergency, the Royal Thai Air Force plans to use C-130 planes to transfer intensive care patients to the following provinces: Nakhon Pathom, Pethburi, Surat Thani, Phitsanulok, Chiang Mai, Khon Kaen, Nakhon Rathsima, Udon Thani, Ubol Ratchtani. Long term patients will be transferred by land to adjacent provinces. (MPA Press Release 22-16)
