Make Your Way to America!

Secondary students at Satit Chiang Mai University (CMU) Demonstration School in Chiang Mai got the chance on September 15 to hear from Embassy Speaker Jenny Bah about opportunities for study, work, and travel in the United States. 

Jenny, an Embassy officer in Bangkok, travelled north to speak to about 50 students and to field their questions on scholarship possibilities, U.S. colleges, universities, and community colleges.  She also gave detailed information about the Summer Work Travel program, and explained how students could seek internships in the United States. 

The U.S. Consulate in Chiang Mai helped coordinate this program with the school, which is affiliated with Chiang Mai University.
