King Prachadhipok Institute (KPI) Recognized for Exceptional Achievement in Democracy Promotion

King Prachadhipok Institute (KPI)

Ambassador and Mrs. John hosted a reception at their residence on September 14 for students of the Executive Course on Politics and Governance in Democratic System at the King Prachadhipok Institute (KPI).   Dozens of former and present KPI students were in attendance to celebrate the institution’s long history in supporting the democratic development of Thailand.  During his remarks, the Ambassador congratulated the group for their exceptional achievements, and noted the strong record of cooperation between the Embassy and KPI on speaker programs, seminars, and exchange programs.

KPI provides high-level professional development courses for select groups of leading Thai politicians, business people, academics, and senior military personnel.  This year, Mrs. John is among one of KPI’s honored students.
