Hail to Thee O Alma Mater
Thai Foreign Minister Kasit Piromya was the guest of honor of a reception hosted by Ambassador John on September 10th and attended by over 60 Thai graduates of U.S. universities. Both the Foreign Minister and the Ambassador are graduates of Georgetown, and erstwhile Hoyas made up the largest contingent at the event. They were joined by the heads of Alumni Associations from around a dozen other U.S. schools, and the alums of many more.
The event was a way of enhancing contact between the Embassy and Thai alumni, with an eye toward future cooperation on joint activities. To learn more about how you can study in the U.S., check out our website here.
