On February 11, 2008 Mr. Samuel Werberg, Consular Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Bangkok delivered a presentation on "U.S. Presidential Elections" to the students of the Faculty of Political Science at Thammasat University. Mr. Werberg explained to the students how U.S. citizens elect their President and the origins of the U.S. electoral system. He compared the election system in Thailand and in the U.S., then shared a sample ballot form with the students and had the students participate in a mock election.
